APEC2010の日本の技術でおもてなしというテーマに合致したとして、参加20か国首脳への贈答品に採用された「真空チタンカップ」や地球環境保護のために誕生したステンレス製「ecoカップ」など金属複合加工基地で製造されたオリジナル製品を展示します。また、デザインコンクール受賞製品も併せて展示します。
We will display the “titanium vacuum cup” which was presented as a gift to APEC 2010 leaders from the 20 participating countries, as it reflects the theme “JAPAN EXPERIENCE ～ Ideas into Reality”. Moreover, original products manufactured from a “complex metal processing area” such as the “Eco-cup”, made of the stainless steel that was produced for global environment protection, will be exhibited. In addition, the prize winners of “JAPAN TSUBAMECUTLERY HOUSEWARE DESIGN CONTEST” will be also exhibited.
燕市は、新潟県のほぼ中央、県都新潟市と長岡市の中間に位置しています。北陸自動車道「三条燕IC」と上越新幹線「燕三条駅」といった高速交通機関があり、首都圏とのアクセスに利便性の高い地域です。全国有数の中小企業集積地であり、金属製品製造業を中心に約2,000社が立地しています。
The city of Tsubame is located almost in the center of Niigata Prefecture, between the cities of Nagaoka, and the Prefectural capital, Niigata City. Tsubame's highly convenient transportation network to the Metropolitan area is serviced by the Hokuriku Expressway via the Sanjo-Tsubame interchange, as well as by the Tsubame-Sanjo station on the Joetsu Super Express rail line.Tsubame City is one of Japan's top agglomeration areas of small and medium enterprises. Approximately 2,000 enterprises, most which produce metal products, are located there.
